Finding Journals and Newspapers through WKU Libraries

1) Go to the library web page (



2) To search for a specific journal or newspaper, click the link to E-journals beneath the search box:

3) Enter the name of the journal in the search box, then click the search icon.  Or you can browse titles by clicking on the alphabetical bar below the search box.

4) Choose the journal you wish to view from the list of results. Sometimes you will find a number of journals with very similar names in this list, so make sure you choose the one you really want.

5) When you click on the journal, it will take to a list of databases and/or publisher links that will provide you with full text access. Note that you can also see the range of dates covered, along with any limitations to the coverage.

What if the Journal Isn't Available through WKU Libraries?

  • If the journal is not available electronically or in paper at WKU Libraries, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request for the article you need. 
  • Our Interlibrary Loan staff are able to fulfill most requests successfully and quickly.
