How to find scholarly articles through WKU Libraries

3 Ways to Find Articles through WKU Libraries


1) The One-Search Library Catalog

  • The fastest way to get started on your search for articles is to use the WKU Libraries One-Search Box--easy to find on the Library Web page (

  • Enter search terms for your topic (such as "banking reform," or "intelligence testing") in the big search box.

  • Click on SEARCH and the list of results will come up...articles, books and other materials related to your subject.

  • Follow the links to find full text when available, or to find the location of books and other physical materials in the Library.

  • CAUTION: some links can be hard to follow...feel free to contact the library if you need assistance.

2) WKU Libraries' Research Guides
  • The WKU Research Guides provide links to popular article databases for your topic.

  • The Research Guides also suggestions for books, articles, databases, and resources on the open Web

  • They include contact information for librarians who specialize in your topic.

  • They are in alphabetical order by subject area
