How should the writing look on my poster?

  Narrative Style Writing Style
Do this

Write in 3rd person.

  • "Responses revealed..."
  • "Participants were asked..."
  • Use full, complete sentences
  • Have 1-2 paragraphs per section
  • Some bullet points OK if you have a short list
Don't do this

Don't write in 1st person.

  • "I observed..."
  • "We hypothesized..."

Don't write only using bullet points.

Narrative style is how you tell the story.

Writing style is your actual writing to convey the story.
