• Film/Video/Audio File - will return all films, videos, audiotapes in all formats held in WKU Archives
• "Film/Video/Audio File - [subject]" - will return just the items you request, the quotation marks are necessary to refine the search, the brackets show where to enter the subject or topic you are interested in.  Examples:
  • "Film/Video/Audio File - Basketball" - will return all mens basketball films, videos, audiotapes in all formats held in WKU Archives, the quotes are needed to distinguish mens games from womens
  • "Film/Video/Audio File - Basketball, Womens" 
  • Subjects to add include: Athletic Music, Athletics, Banquet, Baseball, Centennial, Commencement Dedications, Football, Founders Day, Free Enterprise Fair, Groundbreakings, Hilltopper Halftime Program, Interviews, Interviews/Oral History, Lectures, Music, On Campus Halftime Program, PSA, Press Conferences, Speeches, W Club

The Container Description field can be used to further refine the search by either format, date or other criteria.  These criteria can be entered as a string separated by commas.

• Person's name using quotation marks, e.g. - "Michael Card", "Fleenor, Ken"; or you can enter just the surname

WKU Archives houses many films, videotapes and audiotapes which are in need of preservation and transfer to newer formats. Unfortunately, digitization has been discontinued indefinitely due to budget cuts.
